Trampoline

Intensity Level: Light | Moderate | Vigorous

What is Trampoline exercise?

Trampoline exercise is a fun physical activity where you bounce up and down on a small, round surface that feels springy and soft. It is made of a strong fabric stretched tightly over a frame with springs, creating a gentle bouncing motion. Each person uses their own mini trampoline.

How is it Done?

  • The exercise focuses on feeling the movement through the body while maintaining balance in the centre of the trampoline.
  • The class is done in sync with music, using the beat to guide movement (knowing when to start, stop, or change actions).
  • The instructor gives clear verbal cues to guide participants safely through each step.
  • Movements are usually simple, such as gentle bouncing on both feet, small steps or light jogging on the spot, and controlled arm movements.
  • The exercise can be adjusted to different comfort levels, allowing participants to move slowly or with more energy.

Safety and Support

  • Each mini trampoline is equipped with a handlebar. Participants are encouraged to hold onto the handle when stepping on, standing, or exercising to maintain balance.
  • Volunteers are positioned beside participants at all times to provide guidance and ensure safety during the activity.
  • The activity is guided by an instructor in a safe indoor space.

Benefits

  • The trampoline absorbs impact, so the movement feels light and soft on the joints.
  • Provides a full-body workout that helps improve balance, coordination, and strength.
  • Combines movement, rhythm, and music to make the session engaging, motivating, and enjoyable.
